Ksenija Švenda-Radeljak

She was born 09.01. 1965 in Zagreb, where finished elementary and high school, and the Faculty of Law in Zagreb – Department of Social Work. In 1994 started working as a graduate. librarian in the Library of the Department of Social Work – Faculty of Law in Zagreb. At that workplace works to date holds senior librarian position.
Master’s degree in 2005 with the theme “The structure of a thesaurus for the scientific field of Social services – a branch of Social Policy”. Shortened and adapted thesis conceived later as the manual.

In 2012 she obtain the degree of Ph.D. of Information Science defending the thesis “Education and status of librarians in Croatia to the introduction of library studies” at the Department of Information and Communication Sciences of the Faculty of Humanites and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.

The subject of her scientific interests are: scientific journals in the field of social services, women’s contribution to croatians librarianship, professional education of librarians, education of users in the area of ​​information literacy. She has published several scientific and professional papers and participated actively in a number of national and international scientific conferences

Participates in teaching maintaining workshops in the field of information literacy for students SCSR-a-
She is a member of the Croatian Library Association.
