Vanessa joined Crossref in June 2017 and is based in Oxford, UK. Her role at Crossref involves managing the Crossref ambassador program, Crossref LIVE events (both online and in-person when we are able to meet again), and the running of multilingual education webinars. She enjoys working cross-culturally with a diverse network of people and helping others to better get to grips with Crossref and the role of persistent identifiers and is passionate about the importance of scholarly metadata. She previously worked in International Development with a focus on access to scholarly information and research in developing countries.
