PUBMET2018 conference

We welcome you to take part in a conference that strives to present and discuss the plurality of approaches to the scholarly publishing and assessment (metrics) and new trends in the scholarly publishing area. The PUBMET2018 conference will present innovative approaches, best practice discussions and take on future challenges. The organizers aim to maintain lively discussion among experts in various fields involved in scientific publishing and dissemination of knowledge. The field of scholarly publishing and metrics includes all disciplines and variety of skills: researchers from different research areas, information specialists and librarians, editors, publishers, educators and students, policy makers and managers contribute to this field of investigation. Submit

Publication information

The organisers of the PUBMET2018 conference invite you to submit extended abstract (600-1200 words plus no more than 8 references). All submissions should be written in English. The authors should use the template available here.

Submission should be made using the EasyChair system (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=pubmet2018) and selection between oral or poster presentation should be made.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed. The abstract submission system will be re-opened after the reviewing process so the revised abstracts can be uploaded. The accepted extended abstracts will be printed in the Book of abstracts. According to the opinion of the Programme Committee, authors will receive the decision whether the submission can be accepted for oral (max. 20 min) or poster presentation. Posters will be presented during poster session. The size of the poster should be maximum 70×110 cm.

Abstract acceptance notification: August 1, 2018

Important requirements

Presenters of accepted abstracts must register for the conference by July 20, 2018, otherwise they will not be included in the programme. Each presenting author is responsible for his/her registration fee(s) as well as travel and accommodation costs. Presenters who are unable to attend the PUBMET2018 conference can arrange for a co-author to present.
